Happy with the purchase

I wanted some hot socks to wear when ice fishing, but I didn't want to shell out over $100 and find out they didn't work, so I tried these out. they do heat your feet up good, i gotta say.

ha! I could almost copy the review by bob--these are nice wool socks but the constant buying of batteries is a drag. they heat up nice, though.

Don't get me wrong, these are nice wool socks, but $50 and i have to keep buying my own batteries? wish they came with batteries in them already. they lasted a cc ouple of hours on high and then i had to put in new batteries.

Really comfy wool socks. Not itchy at all. Wish the batteries lasted longer, but they don't recharge. maybe I should buy some rechargable ones? Can't beat the price of these socks. Mom bought me these for xmas (yeah, still getting socks for xmas!) but I have to say, it was a good choice. wore them tailgating and didn't notice my toes freezing like I usually do, to I have to say that's a win!

I wore shoes with these on and they worked wonderful. Gives me warm and cozy heat.

My wife has the cotton ones and I tried them out but I bought the wool ones and think they are better

These socks work fantastic using infra red heating

The socks are really soft and comfortable. Would like some way to keep the battery pack more secure in the pouch, but that's not a huge deal. They seemed to warm better than regular socks, but was just wearing them around the house for now. Have not worn them yet inside shoes, but would imagine better warmth retention inside a shoe.

I purchased for my daughter in law for Christmas. She loves them.

They feel good on my feet and have gotten compliments of them. Quality of material is impressive.

Full disclosure - I am not using these socks with the supplied AA battery packs. I am using them with the two sets of Li-Ion battery packs I received with the previous two purchased sets of Action Socks, which 3 of 4 of them no longer conduct electricity. These socks, when new, do keep my feet warm during my 35 minute commutes to work on days as cold as the upper teens Fahrenheit while riding a Triumph Tiger adventure tourer. However, I have yet to buy a pair of Action Socks that lasted much more than one winter's worth of commutes, which for me is about 50-70 rides to work. If they would sell the socks separately for about $20, I would not mind buying a pair every year, but to pay $120 for Li-Ion powered socks every year, or even $40 for AA powered socks is too rich for my blood. I have way more batteries and battery packs than I need. Unless they start selling the Action Heat socks separately, this is probably the last set of Action Heat socks I buy. Perhaps, a competitor has a more durable battery heated set of socks.

I am in Oregon and for me it's cold as I live in Tucson, AZ. I have Diabetes and my feet get cold easily. I will be leaving to go home after Christmas and the socks that were ordered Dec 6th have yet to arrive. I am not sure what to do with them if they arrive. The ordering process was easy and as far as I see your business runs good, no fault. If the need arises again I will be better prepared when ordering. Merry Christmas

My toes get the coldest even just in the house, these are great. I think everyone should get a pair this upcoming christmas. =)

I sometimes must ride my motorcycle in sub-30 degree weather for 3 hours or so, and previous attempts at avoiding frozen feet and toes included using exothermic insoles like "Toasty Toes" and, naturally, extra thick socks designed for hunters and the like. Neither approach proved successful, so it was with some trepidation that I decided to try a pair of these. I am happy to report that they worked quite nicely. At first, putting on my boots with the socks already powered up (since I could not reach the power switches when my pants were on) I was a little concerned, in that I had hoped to feel a blush of warmth which did not happen. However, after three hours riding in temperatures that ranged from the low 20's to below 14 degrees (I don't know how much lower, as the readout on my dash just turned to hyphens below 14) my feet were completely comfortable. Can't get better than that! I guess longer battery life would be nice, but since it uses AA batteries for longer trips it would be a matter of replacing the batteries themselves - meaning, at lesat in my case, the need to undress to reach the battery packs tucked into the tops f the socks. But that's a small price to pay for comfortable feet in really cold circumstances.

Socks do keep my feet warm, but they kill the batteries quickly. Not good when they take three each.

The best gift ever!

Had these for a year and keep feet warm during winter activities. Clean in warm water with det. And lay flat to dry every few uses .Wearing light sock underneath helps to keep clean. I'm upgrading next pair to 3.7 battery packs as 3 hours is max on present pair with AA batteries.

Keeps your toes warm with heating. The knee high wool keeps your legs warm. The only negative is that they take 3 AA batteries each for 4 hrs. If I was going to use them more than once a week, I would consider rechargeable lithium version.

Most battery heated socks I found are non washable. I'm glad this one is!!

Have just been released from Hospital have not tried as of yet, but have tested in house. They fit and feel GREAT wish I had had them for Dear season , came a bit late!! From what I see at this time I will get more for next year,and look into gloves. LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE A GREAT PRODUCT!! THANKS !!

These socks worked very well. I even bought a pair for my mom. We always have cold feet and these socks warmed our feet very comfortably.

My feet are always cold in the winter, even though I have an electric blanket. These solved the problem, are comfortable and practical.

I am an old lady who always love to walk outside eventhough in a cold weather. I love the socks not only because it is working fine and the heat is very good to me but it is very soft as well and doesn't hurt my feet.

I ordered these for my husband and he loves them. The only glitch is one of the socks doesn't light up when he turns them on. He said it's hard to tell if they are on because of his Rye's Syndrome.

Toes were cold but now warm enugh

I recently received the heated socks that are powered by 3 AA batteries each. They' re made of a very luxurious fabric. I wear men's size 10 shoes and the L/XL size is a perfect fit. I was a little concerned that the battery packs might feel too heavy, but they' re not even noticeable when in use. I've only used the socks once so far, during the recent cold spell here in the northeast, but they provided just the right warmth inside my boots. Because the socks are slightly bulky, you might want to wear them with shoes or boots that are a half size larger than you would wear using normal socks. The included care instructions say to spot clean only, so I emailed customer service asking what to do if the socks get dirty or sweaty. They replied quickly that it's OK to hand wash in water with a gentle soap, and to lay flat to dry (but not to place in the dryer). Delivery took a few weeks, a bit longer than expected, but not a big deal for me.

Totally love them. I actually upgraded batteries too!

Funciona muy bien

So far I have been pleased with these heated insoles. After cutting them to size to fit inside my boots, then charging them up, my feet have stayed warm while sitting on a tractor with no heated cab snow plowing. The boots I wear are usually cold to wear in the winter, even walking in them but these heated insoles work great. The remote control seems to work as to how hot you want the insoles to be.
