Great extension to my jacket and gloves
May 3, 2024
Very easy to use in combination with my current set. The warming is way more than I have needed so far so it is great that when the temperature really drops, I will still have higher settings available.
Pros
  • Ease of use with jacket and glove bundle.

Works and very warm

I went back and forth with the size and settled on the long. That was the correct choice. Measure from your belt to the floor with you riding shoes on and you will get the appropriate length. I was just short of the long but worked out perfect the regular would have pulled up while seated on the bike. Be prepared to drop some layers as the pants and jacket liner get very warm. Also having them long vs being on the shorter side helps because you have to pull them up to straddle the Harley Road King. They are supposed to fit snug whch means the crotch does not have room to spread if not pulled up high, so you need the leg length to avoid exposing the lower leg.

Great addition to my riding gear

Don't know why I waited so long! I've been considering adding heated pant liners to accompany my jacket liner and gloves for some time now. I have been very happy with my other Gerbing heated gear and am looking forward to years of use with these pant liners. Could not be happier.

Road with the pants for the first time this weekend 36 degrees out! Definitely made the ride comfortable! Will need to get a few more rides under my belt with them to appreciate their value. 🏍😎

Waiting to evaluate
March 9, 2022
I find it a little sad and a little comical to be asked to review a purchase that I have not yet received. Being warming gear, I do hope I receive it before it becomes too warm to wear it. I have faith, that since I live in the Pacific Northwest, I still have time. I will then review after evaluation, and since my Gerbing Jacket Liner and Gloves work so wonderfully, I am sure I can return and raise the overall rating from three stars to five stars.

keeps Me Warm

I rode with these wired as Gerbing recommends: install a 15 amp fuse, plug the pants liner into my heated vest. I rode in weather under 40 degrees with winds of about 10-15 mph. After about an hour I felt that the pants liner did not feel as warm as I expected. I unplugged the pants from the vest and plugged the pants liner into my controller (I have a 2-line controller), the increase in heat was immediately felt and my ride was much more comfortable.

Toasty

I get the comments about the size of these pant liners. They are very baggy, but they compress well and serve to add a good insulating layer under my jeans. I am not concerned too much about appearing like a bloated whale as long as I am being kept warm and comfortable. Plugging the pant liner directly into the extensions from the jacket liner seemed to work well and I did not feel that body and legs needed separate heating levels. I used one channel of the dual controller for gloves and the other for jacket and pant liners. Riding in 40degF for a few hours was comfortable. I am now happy as there is no ice on the roads.
Pros
  • Toasty
Cons
  • Baggy
