the battery dosent stay connected wery well if your sitting still its fine but one knuge and it pops out , while its in ther pocket!!! kind of annoying
It would be great if the heat covered the back shoulders and neck a bit better , this statement or opinion is based on a medical condition ( bad neck) not cold outdoor active use ,where its probibly fine!!!

Excellent Heated Vest

The vest appears very well made. Size was perfect. It is very comfortable whether turned on or just using as another layer. The style is very nice and I wear it when we go out to dinner. I can take my coat off and the vest is the perfect length to hide a paddle holster. I also use it 2-3 times a day when I go to the barn to take care of the horses. At the 50% setting there is very comfortable heat, while 100% is very warm heat. I'm never cold anymore even at 10F. I'm out usually 30 minutes at a time and can get through almost a whole week before the batteries need recharging. This will be great for next year's hunting season!

Larger capacity battery would be nice.

Golf Use - great jacket, but be aware

Great jacket that saw plenty of use. Almost 4 winters of continuous golf round and outdoor use. Even used at Augusta National Golf Club a month before the Masters one year. Would give 5 stars, but there are a few design flaws to be aware of (noted below) Will be buying another vest as vest holds up extremely well with regular use, but power plug wiring did not.

Pros

- Best available on the market for golf use.
- Vest itself is perfect combination of durable, flexible, and light weight for golf.
- Looks good and fit is excellent
- Bonded fleece liner increases comfort.
- External fabric is water resistant.
- Gets to a high temp and can hold it. When used with thermal underwear you cant beat it on near freezing days.
- Perfect for fall and winter golf

Cons

Power Plug
- It simply fell apart after less than 4 years of use constantly changing batteries. The biggest flaw of the jacket. Its now just a vest with severed wires and no heat. They should offer to replace mine as it is a defect in design.
Heating -
- Neck heating pad barely can be felt.
- Two chest pads heat higher than rest of jacket and can leave you a little burnt and red through clothing.
Batteries -
- Battery life in use is abysmal in cold conditions and batteries will only last 1-2 seasons with regular use.
- Must carry multiple batteries to make it through a single round of golf
- Batteries are expensive and don?t last long before needing replaced.

Very warm, most of time don't need to turn on heat. Heat element is comfortable, no hard thick wires. Last time I played it snowed and I was nice and warm

Only tested it out and it seems to work good. Was heating up nice. Interested to see how long the battery will really last. I bought this for my dad who is in a nursing home and is always cold. Nursing homes are not allowed to have heated blankets that plug into the wall. So I figured something battery-operated would be OK.
