This has been a colder-than-average year in the mountains of Colorado, and I have used my heated socks almost weekly all winter. I do a lot of long ski tours and winter camping, and these socks have been a complete game-changer for comfort on all day missions. I thought I would notice the heating element in the sock or I might find these socks uncomfortable compared to my normal wool socks, but I honestly never noticed the difference when I was on the move. I think they are well worth the price, especially because you do not have to put holes in your ski boot liner to use these (unline heated insoles).
- they are easy to turn on/off, the battery does not get in the way, and they are machine washable.
Warm feet with no sweat!

First winter ever with no frost bit toes. The socks keep my feet at a normal temperature without making them sweat.
- Soft fabric, they feel like normal socks in my ski boots. I forget I have them on until I take my boots off.
- I would get one size larger next time. They are a bit too tight to get in and out of.
Work, but at a price.

I only used these one day, along with another brand that I paid less than half of these; these didn't seem to work any better or worse. They did keep my feet warm on low setting all day skiing in Whitefish. Will have to put more use in for sure for more accurate rating.

I have used these sock a couple times so far and am very pleased with how they work. My feet are happy and warm. The batteries are larger than I expected, but I do not notice them at all while wearing them.
- Thin socks fit well in alpine ski boots
- Keep my feet warm
- The battery are rather large, and will be a bulge when wearing my XC ski pants, but a small price to pay for warm feet. They don

Work fantastic, use them in my ski boots, but also wear them at outdoor winter events as well. I don’t need the Bluetooth version as these work great. Get a second pair so you always have a fresh pair on hand.
- Way better than a heated footbed in ski boots as now you can use them for fishing, hunting, football games as well as skiing or boarding
- Not the easiest to get on and off

As with all Hotronic products, these socks are well made and they DO keep your feet warm. They are a bit of a bear to put on with arthritic hands, but after the struggle, it is worth it!
- Well made
- Excellent heat distribution
- Long lasting battery
- Difficult to put on
- On/Off switch is difficult to find and use when covered with thermal wear and outerwear

Work until you loose a battery

I bought these so I could ride bicycle in cold weather. My feet tend to become cold and numb even in temperatures well above freezing. I have worn these riding down to 20 degrees F and even a bit colder. Here’s the deal, I can’t say these make my feet toasty warm, I agree with reviews that say they couldn’t feel the difference. What I can say is when I wear these my feet may feel a bit chilly, but they have never turned numb, even in the teens. Without them my feet turn numb and I spend the next hour with aching toes and feet as they warm up. And that is in the +50 degree range. Yes my feet tend to feel on the cool side, but they don’t turn numb.

Purchased these as a gift for the fianc? and they kept her feet warm during a 2-degree day of snowboarding.
- Works as advertised

I bought these for my husband because he was complaining about cold feet while skiing. Although we were apprehensive that they would be too thick or be uncomfortable where the wires ran, after about an hour of getting used to the slightly thicker sock (he needed to loosen his boots a bit) he didn't notice the wires and they kept his feet warm on the second setting.
- Thicker sock than a normal thin ski sock
