I am so pleased with the boots. The mechanism to pop the cleats into 'action' is brilliant (and I love the pocketed tool right on the boot for deploying the cleats!) Boot is comfortable and the 38 (7) fits perfectly with room for a heavy sock. Love the shoe-lace look but the ease of a zipper. Can't speak to the warmth , yet, though, as I haven't been out long in our 7 degree weather, today.

I moved from Florida to South Dakota years ago but still have a major fear of slipping on ice. Even after 20 years, I just don't have the natural reaction to ice and inevitably twist something as I look like a drunk flamingo trying to steady myself. These boots have made me more confident! If you have wide feet, yes the toe box is a more narrow fit but it isn't any different than most sneakers/shoes I buy.

Winters in Wyoming bring snow, ice, wind and variable temperatures, often sub zero. The retractable cleats on the Navatex boot is a life saver, the option to use only the heel spikes or the forefoot ones is a nice feature. I walk 2-3 miles a day in these and so far comfortable and warm . Another feature is the laces allow tightening around the ankle while the zippers allow easy on and off. Overall good value and I would highly recommend. The Warming Store delivered quickly and offered a first time buyer discount.

Nice boots, really useful on icy trails and driveways. Fit well. Love double zipper, easy on and off.

I wanted to love these boots! They look great easy on and off and fit true to size in length, however they were too narrow in the toe box. Back they go.

Attractive. Easy to get on with zippers but with the nice look of lacing. The tread is so good that I tested going down our icy lane without the grips extended and didn't slip at all. Very warm, too. A buying plus for me was that I could take out the insole and replace with my custom orthotic. That's a huge benefit. I would not have purchased without that option. My sister lives in an icy area and when she found out about these, she bought a pair each for her household members.

These boots are extremely comfortable, great quality at a very good price.

I’ve had several situations where I have headed out only to realize that I should have put cleats on my boots because the conditions were icy and unsafe. These have remedied that problem. I was looking at similar boots for double the price and I quite happy that I kept searching and found this product. They are easy to get on and off because of the double zipper system. Once you properly fit them with the shoelaces you won’t have to deal with tying them again. They are quite warm and provide good traction even when the cleats are not positioned for use. I feel more confident walking knowing if the conditions become icy I can just find something to sit on and in a few minutes time I can continue walking without feeling like I might fall. I changed the tool to a tiny screwdriver because it not only helps with flipping the cleats but gives me something to get the ice out of the area that the cleat is going to occupy.

Love the fact you do not have to lace them more then once. The zippers are a great idea. They also include a little device to pull the spikes down that fits in a pocket on the boot. Only negative so far is the ice cleat assembly is pretty stiff to open and close.
